‘Annabel Lee’ by Naomi Lynn Photography

If this isn’t one of the most beautiful things we ever did see…

Photography can transport us to a different place, and so can poetry.  Naomi Lynn Photography gathered an amazingly creative team and produced this interpretation of Edgar Allan Poe’s Annabel Lee.  More commonly known for his darker tales, Annabel Lee is a tragic love story, rumored to have been inspired by his beloved wife, though some debate about that exists.  Set on a sunny Florida beach, this interpretation brings so much light, color, and energy to a poem that’s over 150 years old.  This reminds us of just how important and relevant art – poetry, photography, or whatever else – is long after its creation, as it is truly timeless.
