Lancaster County “Walk in the Woods” Engagement by George Weiss III Photography

I love the beauty and simplicity of this “walk in the woods,”   and these moments that are now memories.

Meg and Doug were engaged during their annual trip to San Diego this past July, and they’ll return to “America’s Finest City” to be married in an intimate wedding next October.  Meg is a social worker and Doug is a graphic designer, and for the pictures celebrating their engagement, they knew they wanted to feature beautiful Lancaster County, where they both grew up and currently reside.  George Weiss III Photography‘s images, captured on film, make us feel like we were there, too, sharing in this sun-drenched fall day.  The colors, textures, and light in these images really make Meg and Doug come alive.  We can truly feel the love between this sweet couple and the happiness in this day.

From the Bride:

We met George through mutual friends and have fallen in love with his talent and his person.  As a fellow creative, Doug really admires George’s work and recognizes his talent.

The engagement pictures were taken at Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve in Southern Lancaster County.  We knew we wanted outdoor photos during the fall that captured the colorful Lancaster County foliage and George suggested this location.   Doug and I thought Tucquan really captures Lancaster County’s protected beauty and George knew exactly how to work with the light.  George did a great job of capturing our walk in the woods and we love how natural the photos turned out.  The expressions on our faces truly depict our admiration for one another.

We are SO excited to work with George for our upcoming wedding photos.  He is looking forward to capturing the California light and will do his magic with sun washed photos.

According to George, “We took a walk in the woods and this is what I saw.”

Meg and Doug, we at Delancey and Penn wish you all the best and we share in your happiness {and we can’t wait to see pictures from your sunny California wedding!} .  George, welcome to the blog.  Thank you for sharing your breathtaking images with us.  Moments like these are what Delancey and Penn is all about.
