Please Touch Museum Wedding by Firefly Photography

The original plan was a destination wedding with just immediate family and closest friends to Newport, Rhode Island.  After some preliminary planning, though, they had a change of heart.  Not that that wouldn’t have been a fabulous wedding {who doesn’t love Newport?}, but they wanted to include many more of the people whom they loved in the celebration than that would allow.  Also, they wanted to have a really, REALLY great party.  So, not ones for the super-traditional, Mark and Jeanine booked one of Philly’s most vibrant venues, The Please Touch Museum, for an early summer Friday night.  They enlisted Firefly Photography to capture the moments and  Beautiful Blooms for the perfect all-white floral decor touches, and then got to work with Brulee Catering, putting together a cocktail-party style reception for about 150 of their nearest and dearest.  Their intimate ceremony was followed by a champagne toast, and by the time they joined their guests by the carousel for cocktails, their vision for a great party was already off to a great start.  After shocking their guests {it was a total surprise to everyone!!} with a wardrobe change and stellar first dance, to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” everyone proceeded to dance the night away…and the new couple couldn’t have been happier about that change of heart.
