Sunrise Rehoboth Engagement Session by Daniel Bostwick Photography

Happy August Monday!  Time certainly does fly, especially during the summer. We can’t believe how quickly these past few months have gone.  August is know for its beautiful beach days, but that definitely wasn’t the case as we in the greater Philadelphia area welcomed in this fresh new month.  But, to make up for that rain, we’re bringing you this absolutely breathtaking ‘sunrise at the beach’ engagement session by Daniel Bostwick Photography.  We often see sunset engagement sessions, but Ashley and Phil’s shots on Rehoboth’s beach and boardwalk prove that getting up before the birds sometimes can be completely worth it {and it also happens to be a perfect solution to staying away from those summer beach crowds!}.

From Danny of Daniel Bostwick Photography:

A few weeks ago I got an email from Ashley asking for portraits on the beach. Pretty typical email this time of year, but then it got more interesting once we got chatting. She said, these are actually engagement photos and they would be down the week of July 4th. Well, if your not from the Rehoboth Beach area, you wouldn’t know (but could probably guess), that the 4th here is the craziest week of the year. The entire earths population gathers on friday night for fireworks on the beach, and it’s a pretty insane spectacle. So, that being said, our only window of opportunity to shoot with not a million people was sunrise. They were totally open to the idea and I started to get pretty excited. After a pretty horrifying dream about missing my alarm, luckily, my alarm, a really angry phone call, and a lie about a family member dying to get out of it, my alarm actually went off  at 3:30 this morning. At that moment, I thought to my self, “Self, maybe you should keep your big mouth shut about sunrise photos”. None the less, I loaded up on coffee and got in the car and cruised down and met Ashley and Phil at the boardwalk.
