It’s only fitting that a day for which the weather forecast includes two to three inches of snow, our feature showcases the most perfect late summer night and – thanks to Alexandra Whitney Photography – you are officially invited to take a break from this cold day and do a bit of summer dreaming. Second in our Harvest Dinner Series feature coordinated by Juniper & Dash, this talented group of creatives created the lovely ‘Twilight Peach’ dinner party, which included subtle peach touches, lush florals by Kati Mac Floral Designs, pretty decor and paper details by Jackalope Heart and Kate Farley Design, vintage mismatched dishes and flatware (provided by Modern Relics and always one of our very favorite details), and one of the most innovative, mouth-watering menus we’ve ever seen. Using peach as its guiding element, Triple Fresh‘s customized dishes included ‘Velvet Peach Purée’ soup, beef short rib with a peach BBQ glaze, and (of course) warm peach cobbler. The specialty cocktail was locally hand crafted peach ginger kombucha from Inspired Brews with Art In the Age rhubarb tea, fresh peaches, and lemons. Held at Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast, guests sat outside under the lanterns and enjoyed a summer breeze, music by MK&COL, great conversation, and delicious food. As summer is exactly five months away, we are SO looking forward to warm and tranquil evenings just like this.
